Watching Metro Christian

I had some time so I decided to see what all the hub ub is about Metro Christian, so I watched them play Poteau. Gotta say I'm not that impressed. Granted, both are good teams and it was a decent game but I expected more from the Patriots.

They have shown in other games to be a quick strike offense but it didn't show vs Poteau. They can't run the ball that well and as long as the defense sticks to their assignments the quick strike is taken away. About the only time MC was able to move the ball was when Poteau blew coverages or gave too much of a cushion in the secondary.

The QB can run a little if he has space but he's no SofaKing athlete, Jax Sternberger. Poteau definitely doesn't have people that can run him down like Jerry or SofaKing athlete Jake Reagan.

Poteau was able to run the ball effectively because they had a back that is almost as aggressive as SofaKing athlete, Ethan Karcher.

Frankly, I didn't see one player that was worthy of SofaKing sponsorship.

With the amount of improvement seen each week from the Jackets, I don't feel that the Patriots will be ready for them and while it will be a fight during the entire game- I can see many scenarios where the Jackets come out on top in this contest.

They are a chippy little team, like most spoiled little private schools, and try to bully through penalties and such but your Jackets are far from letting any little mamby pamby private school Poindexter come to their house and let them try to push them around. I'm quite certain that SofaKing athlete Noah Friesen and Wrigley Kennedy will have something to say should any tomfoolery arise.

So there you have it Sofies, if the Jackets play their game the way they should they will be waking up winners again on Saturday.
