Happy Sunday SofaKing awesome readers and welcome to our first installment of Senior Sunday Conversations. Here, you the fan will have a chance to get to know our Jackets who are finishing their football careers and get a little insight as to what makes them click and what their future might hold for them.

Our first conversation was with Senior TE/DL, Harrison Evans.

I was able to catch up with Harrison over the weekend and had a great conversation with him as he was making the Liver King's work out look like hopscotch in preparation for the upcoming skirmish with the Chisholm Longhorns.

Porterhouse: 5 spot, thanks for taking time to talk with me I know all your fans will be SofaKing excited to check this out.

Harrison: My pleasure, anything for the fans and happy to be here.

PH: This is it man. This is your last season to wear the Navy and Old Gold for Kingfisher football. What are you thinking as the season gets started? Any goals you have set for yourself and the team?

HE: Yeah, this is it as far as high school football goes for me. I'm just going to leave it all out on the field every game and do all I can to help the team. Team is always first for me and my goal is to be one of the last teams playing at the end of the year and being the last team to win. So a State Championship is definitely a team goal for me. As far as personal goals, I would be honored to represent Kingfisher in the All State game.

PH: Kingfisher has a tradition of sending top players to the All State game and I think you would be able to continue that judging by your performance in the first two games. You play on offense and defense, which is your favorite, if any?

HE: Wow, great question. They are both a blast but if I had to choose I'd probably say defense. There's something about hitting someone really hard and they make that "ooooieee" type sound and kind of just lay there on the field. Not for very long of course, I'm not trying to hurt someone or anything like that. I'm going to try to get Coach Myers to use his patented "God Bless America" phrase in a positive light whenever I make a great tackle or hit.

PH: Good stuff man. So are you one of those players who has a pre-game tradition? Wade Boggs used to eat a bucket of chicken before every game which kind of makes me feel sick thinking about it.

HE: Yeah, not really a big tradition guy like that but we do have team pregame meals and my favorite over the years has been the smoked chicken with BBQ sauce. That just really tops all of the other meals we have.

PH: Yeah, I've actually had some of that chicken and it's bussin'. The dude that makes that knows what he is doing. A lot of players like to relax with video games and stuff, what do you like to play and what platform are you using?

HE: Madden. All the way. I prefer PC or PlayStation. 100% the best.

PH: What game are you looking forward to playing in this year?

HE: They are all going to be big games. There isn't just one that I'm looking forward to really, I'm looking forward to the playoffs. Everything is on the line in those games. Win or go home and like I said I want to win my last game as Senior Jacket.

PH: Heck yeah. Prime time players shine brightest in the biggest lights. I love it. Hey I appreciate your time.....wait did you hear something down by the creek? Must've been a Bigfoot or something!

HE: Haha. There's no such thing as Bigfoot. It's probably just Rempe down there cooling off after the workouts.

PH: Ahh ok, that makes sense. 5, thanks again for your time and good luck for the rest of the season.

HE: My pleasure and thank you.
