  1. Jackets won

  2. Mannford sucks

  3. SofaKing athlete Jax was Hoco King

  4. The SofaKing popularity is going to the moon

I mean, you could say the sky is blue or grass is green and that would be more shocking than what went on last night.

If you are a regular reader, and I hope you are, you would've known that Mannford wasn't going to put up a fight last night and they didn't.

They had a little success in the first quarter with a little running play where they faked to one back and gave to their hoss No. 7. They were able to gain a few yards on that play but our No. 70 (10 times better than 7) had enough of that garbage and ripped down the Mannford Pirate with one arm while having the Mannford O line wrapped around his legs and torso.

It was that play that caused the Mannford coaching staff to take off their hats and say, 'well what else can we try'.

Wrigley Kennedy was last night's defensive D. O. G. He controlled the Pirate offensive line and allowed the rest of the defense to do their jobs.

Offensively, the Jackets line dominated Mannford. There were multiple big plays including long runs by Jax, SofaKing athlete Ethan, and Dallen as well as an incredible bomb thrown to Cade Covalt against the chilly wind for a touchdown.

None of these plays would be possible without total dominance by the Jacket offensive line. Your offensive D. O. G. is no other than Noah Friesen, another SofaKing athlete. The Otter was making pancakes all night long. On a play in the third quarter, the defensive lineman attempted to challenge No. 65 and was shoved to the ground so quickly and aggressively that he ran to the sideline to cry to his momma. Although, I'm not sure his momma was in the stands because it appeared that Mannford brought more cheerleaders than fans. Frankly, who can blame them. It's a long trip from there to here and considering they know what talent they have, they should've just made the trip and just gone to The Shed, located at 1505 S Main, Great Food, Great Times, Great Friends- try the pork chops the next time you're in, they are fantastic.

In closing, perfect homecoming for the Jackets with a 36-0 victory. Now it's time to get ready for Metro Christian and their aerial attack on a short week.
