Keys To Victory

Happy Friday Folks!!  Tonight, The Jackets head for Tulsa to play at Lincoln Christian University.  As you can expect, no one is giving Kingfisher a shot in this one.  Well, I disagree.  The LC Bulldogs are good, but not unbeatable.  If The Jackets will follow my 12-step program below, they will have a great shot at coming home victorious tonight.  In my program, I have listed the 6 keys to offensive success and 6 keys to defensive success.  If The Jackets follow this program and constantly ask themselves “WWMD (What Would Murray Do), then I can guarantee success.  

6 KEYS TO OFFENSE SUCCESS:

1. RUN THE BALL!!!

2. Eat up the clock.

3. DO NOT run the ball for the first 60-70 yards of a drive, then all of a sudden decide we need to throw something downfield or run a trick play.

4. RUN THE BALL!!!

5. NO STUPID PENALTIES!!!

6. RUN THE BALL!!!

6 KEYS TO DEFENSIVE SUCCESS:

1. Win the battle up front (like we always do)

2. Put pressure on QB #3

3. Get some 3 & outs

4. Don’t get beat deep – keep WR’s in front of you – Safeties over the top

5. NO STUPID PENALTIES!!!

6. HIT EM IN THE MOUTH EARLY!!!

In closing, I would like to congratulate Lincoln Christian for making it to the quarterfinals and be the first to invite them to watch Kingfisher vs. Metro Christian next week on Kingfishersports.tv while they sit at home enjoying a turkey sandwich.
