Bring Back The Old School Posters

As Porterhouse would say, that poster is "bee-you-tee-full". The 80's gave us many things but these posters were the gifts that keep on giving.

Don't get me wrong, the posters of today are awesome but they are missing some of the flair or personality that we saw back then.

So just for fun, let's see how some of our current Jackets might be represented had they played in the golden era of the NBA.

So here we have our first example, Mr. Steady, Kitch, the Cowboy, Dink (iykyk), among other well deserved monikers I'm sure. This guy though, does it all quiet. He's everywhere but at the same time he's not there. Out of nowhere, his long arms are knocking down a pass and before you can figure out what has happened, he's scored and ready to take it from you again. For that reason, this would be Caden's 80s poster.

Our next example is the one and only Jax Sternberger.

Jax is the guy who defends the house. Not just one guy, but the whole dern house. Mess with him and he'll frustrate you until you are fouled out and as you walk off the floor, Jax will just flash that classic smile and just say "Gotcha".

A similar player from the day had this poster.

Definitely enter the lane at your own risk if Jax is on the floor.

This guy here brings the energy and kick starts the Jacket offense. He is the nitrous that was used in all the Fast and Furious movies. Cash heats up the floor and burns the opposition and for that reason, this is the obvious choice for his classic poster.

Next up

Maddox drops more dimes than a pay phone coin collector- yeah I'm old and remember pay phones and for you young bucks out there, take advantage of the holiday gatherings with your families and ask Grandad about using a pay phone that was outside a gas station, ya whippersnappers.

His ability to deliver his teammates with open looks makes him perfect for this poster.

This guy cools off hot opponents with suffocating defense and remains cool like Fonzie (ask your great uncle about the Fonz if you don't know, dang ole Generation internet) as he shreds the net from behind the arc. Also, his name begs for the poster.

And finally,

X's poster from the 80's should be on locker room walls on all Jacket opponents.

Nothing to say about this one, cause just like his game-he's coming and there's nothing you can do about it.
